Lowell Book Talk

On July 15th I gave a book talk at the Pollard library in Lowell MA. I read part of chapter 3 of Dames, Dishes and Degrees which is about clubs at the University of Chicago. In the audience were two good friends who live in the Boston area. Their attendance made the event extra special.

Pollard library is an incredibly old building with an ample collection of Audubon prints and a lot of art pertaining to the civil war. I sold four books to people in the audience and one to the library. The Lowell talk was it from the summer. Beginning in September my speaking engagements pick up again. You can always see what I’m up to by clicking on the news tab.

If you can, please subscribe. If you have read Dames, Dishes, and Degrees, please review it on Amazon, Goodreads, or Library Thing, or all of them. Thank you.
